Good Morning All: Well it has been awhile since I last posted anything of relevance, so hopefully after a bit of a layoff from "blogging" on this space I will have have something of interest for each and everyone of you today!

As the summer of 2008 is winding down I find myself dreading the thought of winter making it's appearance along with the freezing temperatures that come with it. As for my summer so far, well it has been a period of time that I have become more familar with my family in this part of the country and the more I see the crazier they get. What exactly qualifies as a dysfunctional I really cannot define for it can have a singular definition for each and everyone of us. Having come back to my current home after a 33 year absence has seen all my nieces and nephews grown from children to adults so in a round about way they are strangers to me.

The gender "line of all my relatives can be divided into this equation " 7 nieces, 3 nephews = a lot of dope and literally thousands of gallons of alcohol each year. (Getting a hint of why they are so dysfunctional....I thought you might). What really is quite bizarre is how different one side of the family is as opposed to the other. Here you have "my" side with virtually no contact with these vices (drugs and alcohol) in our lives and then you have all these kids raised by my sister who are either addicted to one vice or another or for that fact all of them and yet the same DNA is incorporated into all of us. Perhaps truth really is stranger than fiction and since they live in both worlds at least they never may be bored or repeat themselves.

How can one family be so divided when it comes to such issues as being so dependent on such vices and how is it that seemingly no matter what disaster befalls them, somehow they always appear to "land on their feet" with no apparent long term ill effects on their mundane lives. Having been raised in small town "Ontario" all their lives it would be easy to say that they were very sheltered most of their upbringing and even if that was the case it still could not justify how their lives have developed and how they became so distant to their own realities.

I have spent the greater part of my time since coming back to this cultural wasteland, attempting to figure out just why this has happened to my sisters' side of the family and I am no closer today then I was 3 years ago. So for the meantime I have distracted my attention to other issues such as why do I not find toilet paper as fascinating as George Costanza does on the sitcom "Seinfeld" and is it true that I may not be as attractive as I think I am? These questions may neber be answered but as long as I am me I shall persevere. So to it, is my wish for all of you. Take care all!

Well gang, today will be officially my last blog on this site. I would just like to extend my appreciation to each and everyone of you for the sensitivity and kindness that you have shown me over the course of my time here. The reasons why I find myself leaving "T-Blog" is to the point irrelevant, yet I will sincerely miss each and everyone of you!

    R EALITY SHOWS: " TO SUCK OR NOT TO SUCK :

Over the course of the last 10 years television has been dominated by shows improperly termed "reality" shows. The true definition of the word reality is in no way whatsoever connected with the premises of these shows. I believe it is fair to say that the creators of such programs as Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race etc, have no doubt lost contact with reality many eons ago. In their devious and greedy minds they actually think that what they are producing is actual entertainment for the viewers of their shows when realistically the material that they use are bad imitations of early game show of the 1950's!

Lets take for example, the show Survivor where a group of women and "men" are placed in an area of the world where one would not usually find humans inhabitating. The idea that having this group of people attempt to "outwit" their rivals and survive all and any challenges thrown their way is utterly laughable when in reality not a single individual on any of these made up "teams" ever lose the nicities of what they are commonly used to.

What goes on behind the scenes is much more different then the viewer is led to believe and of course it never hurts the producers to have the ability to "edit" into or out of the show what they want to! By the time it actually hits the screen in viewer's living rooms, the entire original show has been edited to "death" so that the public might believe what they are watching is actually what took place.

Reality shows are nothing more than for the lack of any intent, pieces of needless writing that go nowhere in its' attempt  to humor us. A comparison drawn to "rap" music may be assumed as both do not require any talent whatsoever to create. When all else fails become a 'rap" star or a "reality" show creator. I don't know about the rest of you but the producers of this show have wasted enough of my time. What about yours?
